Evaluation Services

Evaluation Consultation – This service is ideal for those seeking a better understanding of their needs, wanting a second opinion, or needing additional recommendations following a previously completed evaluation. The cost of this evaluation consultation can be applied toward an additional psycho-educational evaluation if that is recommended. 

Psycho-educational Evaluation – This comprehensive assessment evaluates cognitive abilities (such as IQ), academic skills, and learning processes to identify a student's strengths and challenges. This type of evaluation is essential for diagnosing specific learning disabilities related to reading, writing, and math, including dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia, along with intellectual disabilities. 

College and Adult Learning Assessments– These learning assessments, include a full psycho-educational assessment with additional assessment options focusing on adult learning needs and preferences. Recommendations are tailored to support older students or adults who may require accommodations in higher education or testing environments (e.g., GRE, LSAT, ACT, etc.), or for those seeking guidance when choosing a career path. 

Preschool Assessment of Cognition and Readiness– A preschool version of the Psycho-educational Evaluation, this comprehensive assessment will assess cognitive abilities (IQ), and school readiness skills. This diagnostic assessment will provide a baseline of strengths and weaknesses and give recommendations for a successful start in your child's educational journey.

Curiosity IQ Testing– A formal standardized assessment that strictly evaluates general cognitive ability. Although not a diagnostic assessment, this evaluation provides insights into current intellectual functioning and identifies strengths and weaknesses. The cost of this service may be credited toward a full psycho-educational evaluation if we agree that it would be beneficial. 

Single Area In-Depth Analysis – A cluster of standardized assessments utilizing both cognitive and performance tests with a focus on just one area (ex. reading, math, writing, or functional daily living skills). This is not a full psychoeducational evaluation for eligibility purposes. The purpose of this assessment is for further evaluation of an already identified area of weakness. Further testing such as this, will use the newest assessments, created with the latest research to assist in further explaining specific areas of difficulty. These tests are designed to discover why these areas are difficult for the learner, and will generate a specific plan for interventions, accommodations, websites, and curriculum. The cost of this service may be credited toward a full psycho-educational evaluation if we agree that it would be beneficial.
